My husband broke my gargoyles for the second year in a row during tear down and I just don’t have it in me to reglue/paint them again. Looking for suggestions of what to top my pillars with this year as well as any constructive criticism/suggestions on what to add to our spooky graveyard haunt. We live in a VERY windy area so anything we put out needs to be either extremely heavy and/or able to be secured to the ground well with rebar. I considered an arched sign to connect the pillars like I did in 2020 before upgrading them but I’m nervous about stability (and storage.. it’s getting to be a lot of stuff lol). I built just about everything you see here myself (aside from gravestones, bones, etc). Preferably on a budget and DIY friendly! (single income and I am disabled but motivated!) Thanks in advance!

I love making tombstones. I made these last year. I am really excited to make more and love all of the ideas for them I’ve seen on here. I really need to get started soon.

Almost done with our yard. Pictures of the inside when finished 👻. This is my first time having a large yard, so this was a ton of fun to do. We have been a military family for many years, and I couldn’t decorate with much due to all the moving. (Keeping lots of stuff is impossible with all the moves.). Finally settled, and I’m starting to collect stuff. What do you all think so far?

My 6 month Halloween Arch project step by step.

It was FABULOUS. I have no good place to store the damn thing, though, so the weather has beaten it up in my side yard all year. I apparently need to repaint it with Marine layer paint in order to keep it from flaking off... but spray paint is less exhausting. I dunno.

It may come back this year, or may just wait for another theme. 🤷‍♀️

Halloween on the Hill 2021

This was my Halloween decorations this year. I made all the ghost myself, made from packing tape, and plastic drop cloths.

Outside lighting nice and bright haven't been able to see how waterproof as to no snow or rain yet

7 on the house 1 on the tree. They mount easy and can be controlled individually.
