Rebooting Your Onforu Security Camera

To resolve issues such as audio distortion and video discoloration, reboot your Onforu security camera through the Onforu app.

How to reboot your device in the Onforu app

Note: Your Onforu device must be connected to Wi-Fi to reboot the Onforu app.

  1. Open the Onforu app. 
  2. Select the device you want to check in the device list.  
  3. Click the “... “ icon.  
  4. At the bottom there is “Device Restart”, click it to reboot the device.

Other ways to reboot your device

If your Onforu device is not connected to Wi-Fi:

Reconnect the device to Wi-Fi and then restart it in the app.

For wired Onforu devices, you can power off the consumer unit, wait a few seconds, and then turn it back on. When power is restored, the unit will restart automatically.
